Computer Disposal and Recycling

computer-recyclingWith our Computer Disposal and Recycling service we aim to maximise the recovery of any components that can be reused. Any equipment that can be reused is passed onto our sister enterprise, The Ethical Computer Company. Any equipment that cannot be reused is sent for recycling. With our expertise, the waste is separated depending on the type of material. Materials like plastic, ferrous and non ferrous metals and parts such as circuit boards and batteries are dispatched for recycling.

This computer recycling process is part of a system that allows us to provide a full audit trail to our clients.

It includes data wiping and/or destruction of hard drives if required.

Our disposal and recycling services include the ability to come to site and remove equipment for clients as required.

Free decommissioning

TERC offer a FREE decommissioning service to companies who donate Pentium IV computers and above.

By donating your computer equipment we not only offer you unrivalled PR benefits, but we offer FREE data destruction and FREE asset tracking, and as a company you benefit by tax benefits. We also guarantee that all useable equipment will end up at a not-for-profit organisation or in a school, hospital or charity in a developing country

We assume all legal responsibility for the equipment and we will ensure you are compliant with the WEEE legislation and the Data Protection Act.
